Mr. Nicholas Watson

Nicholas Watson is the Head of Compliance Solutions at ProximaX, a platform where apps can benefit from an advanced extension of the Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology, utility-rich services, and protocols. He has over ten years of compliance experience in London and Singapore, which include three years at an international law firm named Simmons & Simmons, six years at JPMorgan Private Bank, and the remaining at Anglo American’s commodity trading business unit. Last year, he began exploring how blockchain technology and decentralisation could benefit compliance. This led to the development of the ProximaX KYC App, which is designed to bring greater efficiency, data protection, and privacy for both regulated and non-regulated industries. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Kent, and a Master of Laws from the London School of Economics.
