Seeni is a multi-million dollar fund manager and portfolio adviser, specializing in currency(FX) based funds. He managed funds for retail investors, HNWIs and a MAS regulated company(RFMC). In his capacity, his typical exposure is in spot currency markets or as hedged portfolio against private equity or REITs fund(s). He has been involved in the currency markets since 2003 and now oversees his trading team specializing in the currency markets, developing diverse trading models. His team of traders develop proprietary trading systems involving algo/arb models. The systems are devised for wealth preservation, income generation and risk mitigation. Seeni also advises on the retail FX trading platform of a FCA regulated firm, providing technology and liquidity solutions for various FX brokerage houses. Based out of London, UK, the company primarily offers turnkey solutions for retail brokerage houses, offering clearance services for spot orders in the derivatives markets. Seeni’s latest venture is a tech dev project involving remittance and the blockchain based framework for settlement, called Xwapp (pronounced swap). The firm has a pure fintech service for remittance, being able to transact international money transfers at rates far more affordable than the banks with almost instant transfers and powering this via mobile agent banking. Seeni serves as Head of Treasury, bringing his wealth of knowledge from the FX markets into this money transfer solution. The product is now at beta stage, having a MAS Remittance License, and is getting ready for its Initial-Coin-Offering(ICO) before launching for the mass market in Q4 2018.
