Jason’s experience in cryptocurrencies and blockchain began with Celebrus Advisory, one of the region’s most sought after blockchain consulting companies led by Colbert Low, Founder of BitcoinMalaysia.com, a social platform since 2012 that pioneered the blockchain conversation and grew into the largest crypto-community in Malaysia. He has helped the community to navigate through this rapidly evolving industry that is filled with hype, noise, fear, uncertainty and doubt (FUD). Jason plays an extensive role for growing the crypto-community as he is reputable for delivering talks at business and academic communities throughout the Peninsular that are simple, easy-to-understand yet deep in knowledge both upstream and downstream, from technical development, capital formation (ICOs) and regulatory compliance. Prior to Celebrus Advisory and BitcoinMalaysia.com, Jason was the client intimacy & investor relations officer at Owners Circle and manages a business owner community portfolio of over RM 10 million in privately raised funds. Originally from the renewable energy sector, Jason is also the founder of EMPOWER, the world’s first cryptocurrency token to reward consumers who support renewable energy generation. Jason helmed the sales & marketing operation for DCSP, a solar power company since 2008 and has created a legacy of clients who are consistently and collectively earning RM 1 million annually from their rooftop solar energy generation.
