Freddy Lee is Chief Technology Officer, Recording Artist and Tennis Coach. Freddy graduated from Curtin University of Technology, Western Australia, with degrees in Computer Technology and Computer Science. He joined IBM in 1992. Freddy has a very strong background in IT Infrastructure but his passion is in artificial intelligence or what IBM calls, cognitive computing. He also regularly contributes to an external non-profit organization and serves as one of the board members in the Storage Networking Industry Association Malaysia. Freddy is a Thought Leader in his field of expertise i.e. data storage. He obtained the highest level of certification in the IBM IT Specialist Profession in March 2014 and is still the only person in IBM Malaysia with this distinction. For leisure, he writes and records songs, plays (and sometimes, coaches) tennis, and on occasions, dabbles with photography
